Ripley Horse & Rider reserves the right to change or remove content, refuse access to the website or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you and we will notify you immediately.

Placing An Order The information we seek from you when placing an order is for billing and delivery purposes or for contacting you if we have a query. When placing an order to purchase goods from Ripley Horse and Rider, you will receive an email confirming receipt of the order and the order details. A contract between you and Ripley Horse and Rider will only take place once the order has been accepted, processed and items dispatched, at which point your credit/debit card will be charged.
Pricing All products offered for sale by Ripley Horse and Rider are priced in pounds Sterling and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable. You are responsible for any customs or import duties due when your package reaches its destination country.
Occasionally, despite our best endeavours, products appear mispriced, however we verify prices as part of our order confirmation email. If the correct price is lower than that promoted we will always charge you the lower amount and send you the product. If the correct price is higher, we will either contact you to advise you and request instructions before dispatch, or cancel the order and notify you accordingly.
Availability We try to hold stocks of all styles for active products, however occasionally an item will be out of stock, which should be clear at the time of ordering, however if it becomes out of stock whilst you are placing the order, we will inform you. All delivery dates are estimates and are subject to availability.
Payment We accept online payments through a secure environment by credit or debit card and transactions are shown in pounds Sterling. Do not email your card details. No responsibility can be taken for security if you provide your details in this way.Card fraud is illegal and will always lead to prosecution.
Special Order Items All items ordered specially and are not part of our usual stock or those with personalisation are non-returnable. Cancellation must be made within a week of placing the order and this MUST be done by telephone on 01483 479565.
Returns If you find the goods unsuitable or you are not totally satisfied, providing you notify us within 5 working days from receipt of the goods and return to us unsoiled, unused and in the original packaging you will be entitled to an exchange or refund (with the exception of special order items).
We do not give refunds on items returned after 14 days, or damaged goods not notified to us within 5 working days from receipt.
You will be required to arrange and pay for the return, which should be well packed and clearly labeled.
Please note that we will only accept the return if you have notified and agreed this with us first. It is your responsibility to obtain proof of postage as, should a returned parcel become damaged or lost, we do not provide compensation.

Customs Goods ordered from Ripley Horse and Rider for delivery outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes, these will be levied once the parcel reaches its destination country. Payment By CREDIT or DEBIT CARD - we accept all major debit and credit cards (except Diners Club). Your card will not be debited until your goods are dispatched. By CHEQUE – Please allow 10 working days for your payment to clear. Cheques should be made payable to Ripley Horse and Rider.

Hygiene Regulations Due to the Health and Safety regulations and the hygienic problems involved with the inspection of Footwear and Horse Clothing, it is regretted that we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974).
Safety Equipment Owing to the safety and fitting requirements that need to be met when purchasing riding helmets, riding hats and body protectors, Ripley Horse and Rider does not retail these items on its website. Customers are advised to contact or visit the Ripley Horse and Rider High Street shop so that a riding hat or body protector can be properly and correctly fitted.
Guarantee We guarantee products for 12 months from date of receipt, providing they are used in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and in a manner that is considered to be for the purpose for which it was designed. If you find them unsuitable or you are not totally satisfied, providing you notify us within 5 working days of receipt and return to us within 14 days unsoiled and unused in the original packaging (note you will need to pay costs for sending goods back to us), you will be entitled to an exchange or refund, with the exception of special order items.
Descriptions Every care has been taken to ensure descriptions, measurements, colours and prices are correct, but we reserve the right to make any changes, which will be notified to you at the time of ordering.

DELIVERY
Address You can either have your goods delivered to your home address or you have the option to enter an alternative delivery address, so that you can have the parcel sent to work or a friend where you know that someone will be there to sign for delivery.
Charges UK STANDARD DELIVERY £4.95 Despatch will be by post or our contracted carriers and usually takes 2-4 working days. Please Note: This is a signatory service.
EXPRESS £14.95 For urgent items to UK mainland addresses, excluding Northern Scotland (subject to status) Orders must be received by 12pm to receive next day delivery.
UK SATURDAY £18.95 For guaranteed delivery on a Saturday, excluding Northern Scotland (subject to status). Orders must be received by 12pm Friday to receive Saturday delivery.
All orders are subject to availability. Delivery times provided exclude Sundays and Public Holidays.

Delivery Outside the UK We are happy to deliver goods to most places outside the UK. Unfortunately we cannot deliver to the USA. For a delivery quote, please call customer services on 01483 479565.
The prices in this catalogue include VAT at 17.5% where applicable. To calculate the VAT reduction, divide the retail price by 1.175.
Please note that our carriers normally require a signature on delivery and they do not make timed deliveries.
Time We aim to despatch goods from our warehouse within 48 hours meaning that delivery should take 2 to 4 working days. Occasionally at busy times this may take a little longer. You will be notified by email if it is anticipated that delivery will take longer than our stated time. In exceptional circumstances, please allow 28 days for delivery. We can advise on your delivery if you telephone 01483 479565 for details.
Delivery Method We are pleased to work in partnership with the Royal Mail and Parcel Force so wherever possible your goods will be sent this way. If an item is particularly heavy or of an irregular shape we will use contracted carriers. Please note that a signature will be required. Should you be out at the time of delivery, a card should be left for you to advise that an attempted delivery was made and for you to contact the appropriate depot to rearrange.
